One of our recent projects in Dartmouth, South Hams, is a perfect example of how we combine expertise and high-quality products to create a modern, comfortable home.

Renovations, New Spaces and New Builds

This project took place in a beautiful four-bedroom house in Dartmouth, where the builder Lilburn & elliott Construction, added an entire new story to create a stunning master bedroom and ensuite. The new space has amazing views over Dartmouth, and our job was to make sure the home’s electrical and smart automation systems worked seamlessly with the fresh design.

Smart Heating – Easy Control from Anywhere

One of the key features we installed was the Heatmiser Smart Home System. This allows the homeowners to control their underfloor heating throughout the house with just a touch of a button – either from a central hub or remotely via a smartphone or tablet. Now, they can adjust their heating on the go and always come home to a cosy space.

Bespoke Lighting Design

Before we started work, we invited the homeowners to visit our office and smart home automation showroom. They loved what they saw so much that they even matched the wood soundproofing cladding in our showroom to their new sunroom! While they were there, we also helped them to pick out the perfect lighting designs and fittings to suit their home.

For this project, we installed:

• Under-worktop LED lighting in the kitchen – a stylish and practical way to brighten up the space.
• Collingwood H2 Lite downlights – energy-efficient, high-performance lighting throughout the house.
• Hager white plastic switchgear – a simple, modern finish that blends in beautifully.

Whole Home WiFi & Security

Reliable internet is a must-have in any modern home, especially one with smart features. We installed and set up full high-speed WiFi coverage throughout the property, along with a dedicated rack to keep all the data connections neat and organised.

For extra security, we installed a Ring doorbell, allowing the homeowners to monitor their front door from anywhere. As part of our CCTV and home security installation services, this gives them extra peace of mind, whether they’re at home or away.

Outdoor Comfort – Making the Most of the Views

To help the homeowners enjoy their spectacular balcony views over Dartmouth and the South Hams countryside even on chilly evenings, we installed a large patio heater. Now they can relax outside in comfort, no matter the season!
