Solar Panel Installation in Kingsbridge: The Huxton Wood Project

What the Homeowners Wanted

With a detached garage separate from their main house, they decided to use its roof space for the solar panel installation. This setup would generate energy to power the whole property.

We were tasked with creating a solar system that maximised energy production, included a reliable battery storage solution, and fit seamlessly with the property’s design.

What We Installed at Huxton Wood

Here’s what we put in place to meet the homeowners’ goals:

• 6kW Solar Panel System
  We installed 6kW of high-quality solar panels on the garage’s slate roof. To ensure the system was secure and long-lasting, we used a Clenergy mounting system that worked perfectly with the existing structure.
• 6kW Solis Hybrid Inverter
  The solar panels were connected to a Solis hybrid inverter located in the main house. This advanced inverter ensures efficient energy conversion and allows for remote monitoring and control, so the homeowners can easily track their system’s performance.
• 10kW of Homegrid Compact Batteries
  To make the most of the solar power generated during the day, we added 10kW of wall-mounted Homegrid compact batteries. These store excess energy for use during the evenings, at night, or on cloudy days, reducing reliance on grid electricity.
